On 10th April 2013 a team of LFPME volunteers and supporters are running the UNRWA Gaza Marathon to raise funds for the UNRWA Summer Games (for children in Gaza) and a small amount for LFPME to do some awareness raising events in the UK. 

The UNRWA Summer Games provide 250,000 children in Gaza a safe place to play, make friends, learn and express themselves freely - through art, theatre, sports, beach games and music.

Team LFPME consists of Del, Komal, Will, Helena, Harpy, and Dishi.  They will be running different distances -  the full marathon (all 26.2 miles), the half marathon and the 10km run.
